April Smith had been... unexpected.
During my freshman year in high school, I was on the prowl. I'd just had an annoying physical feature of mine fixed. For some reason, all my life, I've been attracted to brunettes. Don't ask me why. Anyway, I just had never taken her into consideration as someone I'd date until I heard she was interested. I was just looking for a good time and thought to myself, what pretty naked girls hell, why not ask her out?
I was so glad I did.
I asked her to the Christmas Dance.
